Andrea Knarr has been the printmaking coordinator and  Senior Lecturer in the Department of Visual Arts at Northern Kentucky University  since 1988.  She taught a full program of printmaking processes with a special focus on mixed media, intaglio, and color printing. Her work has won numerous awards and has been shown extensively in galleries, museums, and universities across the United States. Her prints are in the permanent collections of:
